Initially conceived by AxiomZen, the idea for Cryptokitties predates even the mainstream adoption of digital currencies like Bitcoin.

With the huge impact of Cryptokitties and NFT in the cryptocurrency sector and other fields like music and art, Dapper Lab decided to focus its efforts on developing blockchain infrastructure and killer app development. In just 10 days after the launch of Flow Playground, nearly 400 developers created over 500 projects, shaping Flow into a fast game and application development platform for developers worldwide using Flow’s unique programming language, Cadance.
